John I. Miller, MD, FACS, named one of the top neurosurgeons by New York Magazine, is an attending neurosurgeon at NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn. He is also an attending neurosurgeon at numerous hospitals in the Brooklyn/Queens area. 

Dr. Miller heads up a group practice called NeuroAxis Neurosurgical Associates, PC, which consists of four experienced neurosurgeons with over 60 years of combined experience serving primarily Brooklyn and Queens. Each of Dr. Miller’s colleagues is expert in various facets of neurosurgery and neurocritical care.  Neurosurgery covers many common and uncommon disorders and events, and the ability to triage a situation, particularly if an emergency requiring rapid response, can make a huge difference in the final outcome.  Dr. Miller’s long-standing partnership with the three other specialists in his group allow for the best choices for each patient, continuity of care and reliable access.  With many years of practice in the New York metropolitan area, Dr. Miller has close working relationships with a diverse group of talented neurosurgeons, each of whom have special expertise in performing the surgery the patient needs.
